The Telangana Government has officially started releasing Rythu Bharosa funds for the 2026 Kharif (Vanakalam) season. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched the fund distribution during the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad, initiating the direct transfer of financial assistance to eligible farmers’ bank accounts

Under the scheme, eligible farmers will receive ₹6,000 per acre as crop investment support. In the first phase, the government will transfer ₹2,482.02 crore to 41.37 lakh farmers who own up to 2 acres of agricultural land. Overall, ₹9,000 crore will be distributed in phases, benefiting 73.32 lakh farmers across Telangana.
